Amaaya Sumoha is a rosewater face mist made with rose hydrosol, rose essential oil and rose petals. Soft, dewy and unmistakably rose, closer to a rose garden at dawn than a rose perfume.
Scent and feel
True rosewater character: watery, fresh and transparent, lighter than an oil-based rose. A touch of rose essential oil adds just enough depth, and suspended rose petals make the bottle as lovely to look at as it is to use.
The story
Sumoha draws on su (beautiful) and moha (enchantment): beautiful enchantment. It is built on gulab jal, rosewater, one of the oldest staples in Indian homes, splashed on the face to cool down, stirred into sweets and sherbets, kept with offerings and found on nearly every grandmother's dressing table. Sumoha isn't reinventing it. It's making it feel the way it always has: simple, cooling and a little like being looked after.
When to use it
- Mid-day resets and hot afternoons.
- Straight after cleansing, as a refreshing step before moisturiser.
- A few spritzes before stepping out.
How to use
Close your eyes and mist lightly over your face and neck from 15 to 20 cm away. Let it settle, or press it in gently with your fingertips.

Format: 30 ml face mist in a frosted glass bottle with spray pump. 100% NATURAL and NO ALCOHOL: a hydrosol base, nothing stripping your skin. Key ingredients: rose hydrosol, rose essential oil and rose petals; this is not a complete ingredient declaration. A gentle hydrosol base. For external use only. Keep eyes closed while misting. Patch-test before first use and stop if irritation occurs.
